The weekend ahead of us, Mugello hosts the seventh and eighth round of the Porsche Carrera Cup of Italy.

The half-time has come, more precisely on the last race weekend before the summer break. The seventh and eighth rounds of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia Championships take place this weekend, 19/20 / 21.07 on my birthday, on the legendary Mugello track. It is a track that has a special meaning for me, because I had my first appearance in Porsche, with the 911.1 (3800ccm, 460hp), and ended it with a double victory for the Italian GT Championship – said Jovan Lazarevic Bekinac.

At the race this weekend, things will be a little different. Namely, this time Duell races have partnered with the Ghinzani Arca Motorsport team, a long-time participant in the Carrera Cup Championship. The Ghinzani team is also recording some podiums this season. The drivers of that team are Simone Iaquinte Mickael Grosso (a colleague at Porsche School) as well as Chicco Reggiani. Otherwise, the Ghinzani Arco Motorsport team is made up of three owners, one being Piercarlo Ghinzani, who rode Formula One from 1981 to 1989.

Apart from the numerous problems that young Lazarevic faced during the first part, he says about the upcoming weekend

This is a very good story for both me and my team. Last week we did the test in the same direction. And I’m very grateful to Mr. Iaquint for a couple of very important racing “staffs” when it comes to Porsche. And something that makes me especially happy is that we were able to ride together in the test and the result was very good. That kind of deal remained for this race weekend. As for the car, it was again controlled by so-called childhood diseases which made it impossible for us to enter the Q2 qualifications last race, although we had a good pace while the power steering hose was “running”….

Friday is free practice, Saturday morning is reserved for qualifying while the first race is held in the afternoon. Sunday is the second race.

Live streaming and live timing will be on the website: http://www.carreracupitalia.it…

There will also be live coverage on channel Sport Club 5 on Saturday and Sunday.
